You answered our questions and we understood after you explained everything to us. Your employees Tim and Joe installed our Furnace and Air Conditioner. They worked very hard and when we had a question, they would take the time to explain what they were doing and why.

As you are aware, we had a York Affinity system installed by your company in the summer of 2009. We also had a UV air sanitizing system installed at the time the furnace and air conditioning were installed.

Recently, we had our annual furnace inspection performed by A Comfort employee Karl. Karl was extremely professional and a delight to work with. As a result of his inspection, A Comfort offered to provide us a new and improved air cleaning system.

Karl returned to our home for the installation and throughout the entire process, Karl maintained an extremely professional and personable demeanor. We are extremely appreciative of his hard work and pleasant attitude.

UV Air Sanitizing System Installation- Pittsburgh, PA

My father is a plumber and “very” hard to please-when he saw the completed installation-every singe comment was positive. New Trane Furnace Install – Coraopolis, PA

Several weeks ago our Moen single handle kitchen faucet stopped supplying hot water. Because we were busy with the details of preparing for a trip to France, we let it go until we got back which was late Wednesday evening. Needless to say, Sandi was growing weary of running to the powder room for hot water.

So, today- a holiday for many(July 3), I contacted A-Comfort and requested a service call to find and fix the problem. While I anticipated an answer that someone could be here on Monday, I got a very pleasant response from the employee that she’d see if a plumber could come today. She put me on hold to check and came back promptly to say that a plumber would be here this afternoon.

At 1 pm, Sean L. arrived in his smart new Ford van and proceed to remove the offending cartridge with the one I’d purchased this morning at Home Depot. Being an old fixer upper, I thought I could do it myself. Not true; sadly technology has passed me by.

But, the best part of the day, and the reason I’m writing this letter, is that there was another broken part. Sean checked his van and didn’t have it. Instead of easily saying..”I’ll be back Monday.”, Sean said he’d go back to the shop to look for the part and return. That’s just what he did. We now have hot water in our kitchen sink and before the 4th of July weekend.

In a front page story in yesterday’s Post-Gazette about the Heinz/Kraft merge, founder HJ Heinz was quoted saying.. “To do a common think uncommonly well brings success.” You should be proud of employees like Sean. That’s what he did and that’s why we’ve been a loyal customer of yours since moving to Sewickley more than 20 years ago. Jim & Sandi L.

Dear A Comfort,
This relates to the comment line on your survey. These points come to mind concerning our purchase:

* Mark B.’s appearance and presentation were excellent. His knowledge and skill level were obvious. We felt comfortable with him in our presence and home.
* He took his time and we felt he felt nothing to chance. He even asked to see the rooms on our second floor just in case something was out of line or different there.
* I would normally get at least a competitive quote to keep everyone honest, but did not as it did not seem necessary; we were pleased with just one.
* The young men from the install team were polite and efficient. They made one call to me to verify a concern.
* The installation was completed in a professional manner. We were pleased with their work.

A couple unrelated notes:

I am employed with a manufacturing sector. We do not price ourselves to be lowest or the highest. We endeavor to add service as value to each sale. This policy is one of our basic tenets here. This practice is not foreign to Mr. B. as he explained it so during his presentation. I wanted to point out I did acknowledge that and that I feel it says a lot about his integrity. Sales and New Installation

Hi! Wanted to leave a comment about Jared F.. My husband, Andy W., scheduled him to do our annual maintenance on our furnace a few weeks ago for our house in Spring Hill. On a Sunday, right as winter began settling in, our heat went out. Jared came up at the end of his day yesterday (Monday) when our house was sitting at 48 degrees. His first comment walking into our house at 6:30 pm wasn’t that of a disgruntled worker finishing his last call of the day but, “Wow!! We need to get you guys some hear! I’m on it!” He diligently worked until 7:30 pm troubleshooting the problem, triple checking everything was working and explaining everything to my husband. He didn’t charge us a dime since it was within the 30 days of our annual maintenance- despite it being after hours. He was polite, helpful and 100% professional. I felt bad that he was working so late, but all he cared about was making sure our house had heat and that we were comfortable. We will 100% continue to work with A Comfort Service and recommend Jared to all our family and friends. His work ethic is tip notch and it really showed last night. Emergency No Heat Call

I just wanted to write and tell your company how much I enjoyed having Eric and Tom in my home. Both of them were extremely polite to not just me, but to my daughters and husband as well. They were very knowledgeable about the work they were doing, and took the time to explain everything to me. As they were walking out, they noticed we had a leaky faucet outside, and even took a few extra minutes to fix that for me, without even being asked to do so. Annual Tune Up

I’ve recently had the pleasure of a service visit from A Comfort Service (10/31/16). I say “pleasure” because each and every time I’ve called upon A Comfort for assistance the experience has always been extremely professional and fantastic. From a furnace checkup, AC tune-up to a complete furnace shutdown during a polar vortex- A Comfort has always been there to offer speedy, dependable and TRUSTWORTHY service. From the placement of my service request over the phone to the time the service tech is packing up his tools and walking out of the door; everything has always been first-rate and very customer-centric. My latest service visit with Eric was no different. Again, he personified the high standards that I’ve now come to expect from A Comfort Service. All A Comfort Service Employees

I just wanted to send a quick thank you for the service I received with my last repair. Steve came out to repair our hot water heater, he replaced 2 thermostats and the problem wasn’t fixed. I was honestly frustrated and upset with the money I spent on something that didn’t fix the issue.

I called back this past Friday and spoke with Maggie, after 5 minutes she called me back, had Steve scheduled to come back out within the next several hours. He came exactly at specified time, quickly noticed it was just a faulty wire.

He quickly fixed the problem and took full responsibility.

He was professional and explained to me each part of the process.

Corporate plumbing emergency call

I rent a condo unit at Calais Village, I had discussed with the owner of the condo unit that the heating and air conditioning were not working. I had suggested that they contact A Comfort Service Co. I know quite a few people living at Calais Village have used A Comfort Service for their heating and air conditioning needs.

Mark Boris, the salesman for your company, stopped by to get all of the measurements, etc. that were needed to put a new unit in. He contacted the owner of the condo and the work was done all within one week from buying the unit to having it installed. Mark is a great person who made you feel as if everything was going to be fine – from start to finish and he was right.

It was installed on June 8, 2017. The workers installing the unit were Tim and Joe. They came before 8:00 am and the unit was installed that day. They were both courteous and hard working. I don’t even thing they took a break. Tim cleaned up the porch and furnace room and explained the unit and thermostat to me.

I had some of my neighbors see the work that was done. One of the neighbors had a unit put in her condo by your company a few months ago. My other neighbor will be calling soon to have her unit checked for the summer heat.

I would refer your company to anyone around here who needs a furnace and/or air conditioner.
